Dr. Speiser has been practicing ophthalmology on Long Island for 14 years. He graduated medical school from SUNY Downstate, and performed his residency at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, an affiliate of Albert Einstein Medical School. He is board certified and the director of ophthalmology at Franklin Hospital.
Dr. Speiser has a distinguished reputation for being an excellent diagnostician, providing a thorough exam through the use of multiple state of the art technologies.
He is also well known for respecting each patient’s time, by ensuring as short a wait time as possible. He does this by not overbooking, resulting in a complete and on time exam.

Optometrist
Dr. Dana Stern grew up on Long Island. At an early age, she knew optometry was the career for her. She completed a joint-degree program through which she received her Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology at Adelphi University in 1996, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 1999. Throughout her career, Dr. Stern has partnered with ophthalmology to provide full-scope primary eyecare. For over twenty years she has performed comprehensive eye exams including eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, diagnosis of eye disease, and treatment of common eye infections and injuries. Dr. Stern co-manages LASIK and cataract surgeries with top surgeons on Long Island.
